Divemaster
Your first step to becoming a PADI Instructor.
In this course you will gain instructor level
knowledge and will practice your diving skills
to demonstration quality. You will
gain experience working with real students
and diving situations under the guidance
of an Instructor and after completing 60
dives, you will be able to join PADI as a
professional Divemaster.
PREREQUISITES:
1. You must be at least 18 years old.
2. Be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or
equivalent from another recognized diving
organization, indicating at least 20 dives
including deep and underwater navigation
3. Be a PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent from
another recognized diving organization indicating
training in diving rescue.
4. Show evidence, in your personal log book,
of completing a minimum of 20 logged dives.
5. You must have a recent (less than 12 months)
medical diving clearence signed by your doctor
indicating you are in good health to dive.
6. Submit proof of completing a Emergency
First Primary Response (CPR) and Secondary
Care (First Aid) training course or equivalent
from other recognized agency within the last
24 months.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Provide evidence, in your personal
log
book, of completing a minimum of 60
logged
dives including deep, night and underwater
navigation.
2. Successfully complete all the academic
work, water training skills and examination.
3. Read and sign the PADI Divemaster licensing
agreement and submit the divemaster application.
